Flink, Gertrude (22 May 1922 - 23 Jan. 1993)
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Gertrude Flink, 70, formerly of Spencer, died Jan. 23 in a nursing home in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The body was cremated, and burial will be in Unity Cemetery.
The former Gertrude Matson was born May 22, 1922, in Ore, Minn. She was married to Walter Flink, Nov. 21, 1941, in Chicago, and he died in 1963.
She and her husband owned and operated a tavern in Spencer from 1948-63. For the last 10 years, she lived six months in Tulsa, Okla., and six months in Marshfield.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Landon and Mrs. Paul Aupperle, both of West Palm Beach, and Mrs. Bonnie Kraft of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Denny of Groveland, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
