Hocking, Agnes V. (24 AUG 1905)

Miss Agnes Virginia Hocking, who will be remembered by many friends as having taught here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) in the high school for some time, was married at Baldwin, Mich., Aug. 24th, 1905, Rev. Sherwood officiating, to Carl G. Ekstrom, a lumber dealer and inspector. The marriage was a secret, as no one knew of it until Dec. 21st, when Mrs. Ekstrom resigned her position in the schools at Manistique, Mich., where she has been teaching for some time past. Mr. and Mrs. Ekstrom left for Darlington, Wis., the home of the bride’s parents, on their wedding tour. They will be at home in Manistique after Jan. 20th.
