Hansen, Donald L. (August 4, 1933 - June 6, 1999)

Donald L. Hansen, 65, of Hawthorne, California, and formerly of Neillsville, (Husband of former Darlene Danielson, of Black River Falls), died Sunday, June 6, 1999 in California.

He was born in Neillsville on August 4, 1933 to Charles C. and Ella H. (Paulsen) Hansen. He was raised in Neillsville, and graduated from the Neillsville High School in 1951. He married Darlene Danielson in 1953 at the Little Norway Lutheran Church in Jackson Co.

The couple have resided in Los Angeles County for 42 years.

Don was employed in the Aerospace Industry as a Data Manager at the Northup Corporation for 38 years. He was graduate of the University of Redland, and he was a member to the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are, his wife, Darlene; 3 sons, Dale (Marilyn), of Havelock, North Carolina, David (Anna), of Davenport, Iowa, and Dana Charles (Lynn), of Ypsilanti, Michigan; 3 grandchildren, Marissa and Drew, and Daniel; 4 sisters, Myrtle Hansen, of Sheboygan, WI., Hazel Hansen, of Seattle, WA, Gertrude (Jack) Coco, of Las Vegas, NV, and Marcella Lourd, of New York, NY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert.

Funeral services were Friday, June 11, at 11:00 a.m. from the Little Norway Lutheran Church, rural Black River Falls. Pastor Calvin Thoreson officiated, and burial was in the church cemetery. Friends called at the church one hour prior to services.
