Charles, Nettie (23 JAN 1907)

On Wednesday of last week Berton H. Wells and Miss Nettie Charles were united in marriage by Rev. Souls, and returned at once to Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.). They will make their home with Mr. Wells’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Wells, as father and son operate the home farm in partnership. Mr. Wells is one of the progressive and popular farmers of Clark County. He is also prominent in Neillsville’s military circles, being first Sergeant of Co. A. He is a man of excellent morals and splendid capabilities. Mrs. Wells is a resident of Neosha, Dodge County, and the marriage is the result of a visit she paid Mr. and Mrs. Wells last summer, and who have known her since childhood. She is spoken of as a highly intelligent lady, a fine musician, and no doubt will soon have many warm friends in this vicinity.
