Whitford, Pat (29 Aug. 1933 - 22 June 1951)

Funeral services for Pat Whitford, who drowned in the Big Eau Pleine flowage June 22, were held at 1 P. M. Thursday on the Lawn of Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Otto Hoffman, pastor of the Lutheran Church of Colby officiating in the absence of Pastor Randolph Mueller. Burial was made in the West Spencer cemetery.

The church choir sang "Asleep in Jesus and "Abide with Me," accompanied on the organ by Norbert Boock.

Pallbearers were Melvin Kansau, DuWayne Tremmel, James Copet, Munson Vanderhoof, Lee Purdy and Elmer Sersch.

In charge of the floral arrangements were Joan Picus, Mary Sersch, Coleen Copet, and Marion Schultz.

Those from out of town at the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. George Raabe, Hazelhurst and Mr. and Mrs. Werner Raabe, and son, Robert, Madison, Henry Raabe, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whitford, Norma Whitford, Gloria Nordwith, Mrs. Luella Laubenstein, and Mrs. Alta Bornsted, Sturgeon Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Carol Mundstock, Milwaukee, Carol Mensstock, Milwaukee; and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Winosky of Loyal.
