Schuster, Joseph (1 Oct. 1890 - 12 Apr. 1960)
Joseph Schuster of the town of Colby, Wisconsin died of a heart attack Tuesday noon at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital at the age of 69 years. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic church Monday morning at 9:30 A.M., Rev. John B. Pinion officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. A rosary will be said Sunday. The body is lying in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home where a rosary will be held Sunday at 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Schuster was born on October 1, 1890, at Bakerville, and married Caroline Beyerl of Colby in 1930. He operated a cheese factory and a filling station here several years and engaged in farming since 1938. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion and St. Mary’s congregation.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Gordon of Marshfield; one grand son; three brothers, Rev. Paul Schuster of Rome, Italy, Jake Schuster of Cudahy and Matt Schuster of Bakerville; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Eberhardy of Hewitt and Mrs. Joe (Dorothy) Heinzen of Marshfield. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Joseph Schuster were held Monday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Wis., Rev. John B. Pinion officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Charles Deininger, Paul Allar, Lawrence Eberhardy, Francis Beyerl, Art Schuh. Military rites were in charge of the V.F.W.
