Mrs. George Gorbet will entertain the Cannonville Ladies Aid Wednesday, January 20, with dinner served at noon.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ammentorp and daughter of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her brother and sister-ion-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Urban. On Saturday they visited her mother, Mrs. Nellie Urban, at the Clark County Hospital, Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams returned home last week Tuesday after spending since December 31 visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clam Steffis in Chilton and Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Backaus on Lake Winnebago. They were snowed in at the Backaus home. They also visited other friends in that area. They spent Monday night with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Vandeberg, in Wisconsin Rapids as a call home revealed their road and driveway was filled with snow from the big snowstorm.

Mrs. Floyd Wall returned home last week Tuesday after spending since New Year’s Day with her sister, Mrs. Irving Stevens.

Mrs. Robert Spiegel and Mrs. John Reinart accompanied a group of ladies from Neillsville to Greenwood Thursday evening where they attended an open meeting on “Use of Drugs and Drug Abuse.”

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kyle were supper guests Friday of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kyle, in honor of the first birthday of their daughter, Becky.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Krause of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Krause spent Sunday afternoon and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reinart.

Mrs. Elmer Kapfer called at the Ernest Kissling home Sunday afternoon.

Mr and Mrs. Don Jelinek are the owners of a new car.

Eddie Kuhn called at the Mrs. Art Odell home Saturday evening.

Mrs. DeWayne Mashin and sons of Tomah visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams, Saturday.

Mr and Mrs. John Reinart and family were Sunday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dahnert.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Vincent and Joyce were Sunday dinner and supper guests of Mrs. Irving Stevens.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Poler, Friday.

Bible Study was held at the Donald Lindow home last Friday evening. The next meeting will be held at the Albert Lincoln home this Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. John Trogner were New Year’s Day dinner guests of their son-ion-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kuhn.
