Olson, Lori Ann (24 May 1967 - 25 January 2009)

Lori Ann Olson, 41, of rural Neillsville died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

Lori Ann Stoddard was born May 24, 1967, in Black River Falls to Wesley and Bernice (Madland) Stoddard. She was raised in Merrillan. She married Robert D. Olson Feb 7, 1995, in Neillsville.

Lori was a certified nursing assistant and had been employed at Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls and the Neillsville Nursing Home. For the past five years, she has been employed at the Clark County Health Care Center at Owen.

She enjoyed bingo, fishing, hunting and crafts. Lori was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Olson; a daughter, Stephanie (Coty Montgomery) of Neillsville; three sons, Patrick Olson, Mark (Crystal) O’Brien and Charles (Tara) O’Brien, all of Neillsville; three step-sons, Brad Olson and Bobby Olson, both of Neillsville, and Brian (April) Olson of Black River Falls; grandchildren, Angel, Billy, Lily, Ziah, Skyler, Brianna and Kerra; her parents, Bernice and Archie O’Brien of Neillsville and Wesley and Pam Stoddard of Merrillan; a sister, Lani Johnson of Neillsville; three brothers, James Stoddard of Neillsville and Kenny (Jessica) Stoddard, and Randy Stoddard, both of Black River Falls; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donnie and Debbie Olson of Black River Falls; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, Billy Olson; a grandson, Porter; and her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at the Alma Center Assembly of God Church. The Reverend Greg Mandigo will officiate.

Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alma Center Assembly of God Church.

The Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, is assisting the family with arrangements.
