Henninger, Caroline (29 September 1870 - 4 September 1950)

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Henninger, 79, will be held on Friday at the Union Church at Granton. Interment will be made in the Windfall Cemetery. The Rev. Virgil Nulton will officiate. The body will lie in state at the funeral home in Granton until 12:30 p.m. Friday when it will be removed to the church. Mrs. Henninger died on Monday morning as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Henninger, the former Caroline Firchau, was born September 29, 1870, in Germany, where she received her education. In 1892 she was married to Conrad Henniger in Germany.

She came first to Chicago and later in 1906 to Clark County, where she lived until her death.

Preceding her in death were her husband, who died in 1924, three daughters and a son.

Surviving are the following children: Oswald of Granton, Emil of Granton, Betty of Newark, N.J., Edward of Milwaukee, John of Beloit, Ferdinand of Alden, Ia., Adolph of Elgin, Ia., and Bernard of Chili.
