Zschernitz, Patricia (Marriage - 2 September 1950)

Miss Patricia Zschernitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Zschernitz, became the bride of William D. Seif, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Seif, at a ceremony performed in the Christ the King parsonage at Spencer on Saturday, September 2. Father Leo Novitt performed the double-ring ceremony at two o’clock.

The bride wore a gown of white satin, fashioned with long sleeves and train. She wore a lace-edged finger tip veil and carried a bridal bouquet of red and white roses.

Miss Mary Sonnentag was maid of honor. She wore a gown of aqua satin. Sue Ann Puttkamer acted as bridesmaid. She was dressed in orchid satin. They wore matching hats and carried colonial bouquets of Pink carnations.

The groom was attended by La Verne Gaier and Fred Vornholdt.

Immediately following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served for the immediate relatives at the home of the groom’s parents. The home was tastefully decorated with gladioli and bouquets of mixed flowers. A huge wedding cake centered the bridal table.

After a honeymoon trip in Minnesota the young couple will be at home in Neillsville.

Guests from out of town attending the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hemp and children of Mosinee, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Seif and children of Augusta, W. R. McCray and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Meyer of Madison.
