Raczykowski, Joseph V. (20 Feb. 1888 - 9 June 1960)

Joseph V. Raczykowski of Unity, Wisconsin died in the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital last week Thursday morning at the age of 72 years. Funeral services were held in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Monday morning, Rev. John B. Pinion officiating, and internment was made in St. Mary’s cemetery.

Mr. Raczykowsky was born on February 20, 1888, in Peru. He married Hattie Hajdan on February 2, 1910. They lived in Peru for two years, in Hayward for 20 years, and in Greenwood for two years before settling on a farm north of Unity, Wis. Four years ago, they moved into the village of Unity, Wis.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Bernard and Walter of Unity and Joseph, Jr., at home; three daughters, Mrs. Wallace Jereczek of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Robert Bradway of Spring Creek and Mrs. Margaret Heintz of Chicago, 20 grand children, a brother, Thomas, who lives in Kansas.
