Miss Virginia Dux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dux, became the bride of Kenneth Karnitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thone Karnitz, at a double ring ceremony performed at the home of the bride’s parents on Saturday, September 23, 1950. Rev. Leonard Domke of Granton performed the 2:30 o’clock ceremony.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father was dressed in a green suit and wore a corsage of red and white roses. Her maid of honor, Miss Lois Karnitz, wore a wine suit with a corsage of yellow roses.

The groom was attended by Donald Carl of Nekoosa.

Immediately following the wedding a reception was held at the bride’s home for approximately 60 guests. The house was tastefully decorated with green, pink and white streamers and baskets of fall flowers. The wedding cake was made by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Bert Vorpagel, of Burlington.

The young couple is honeymooning in southern Wisconsin and Illinois.

The bride and groom were graduated from the Neillsville High School with the class of ’46. The bride has since been employed at the First National Bank; the groom owns and operates a milk route.
