Dolan, Regina (18 Aug. 1891 - 29 Feb. 1940)

Funeral services for Mrs. Peter Dolan, who died at her home, Thursday afternoon, Feb. 29, were held at St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock. The Rev. C. D. Brady sang the requiem high mass and officiated at the services at the Abbotsford cemetery where internment was made.

The pallbearers were Fred Dietsche, Sr., William Bogaard, Frank Kadonsky, Frank Beil, Harry Orth and Robert Janda.

Relatives and friends from away who attended the rites were a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Urquhardt, Birchwood; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dolan, Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Herbert Chapman, Waukegan, Ill.; a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin, Ashland; and their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Gervios of Ashland; Mrs. Norman Urquhardt, Medford; Mrs. Clyde Wilson and daughter, Jean, and Mrs. Charles Blake and daughters, Mrs. John Gagnelius and Mrs. Vera Cliffton, all of Marshfield.

Mrs. Peter Dolan was born Regina Halverson in Ashland Aug. 18, 1891. She was united in marriage to Peter Dolan Oct. 21, 1907. A short time later they came to Abbotsford and have lived here for the past 20 years.

Mrs. Dolan was stricken with a serious illness at Christmas time, in 1938, and on Feb. 29 died of complications.

Mrs. Dolan was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic church, the Ladies Altar Society and the Royal Neighbors of America lodge.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Clarence of Abbotsford, William of Washington D.C., and Leonard of Milwaukee; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Urquhardt of Birchwood, Mrs. Wendell La Belle of Abbotsford, Ruth and Mary Jane, at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Frank Griffin of Ashland, Mrs. Herbert Chapman of Waukegan, Ill.; a brother, Oscar Halverson, Alabama and nine grandchildren also survive.
