Anderson, Viola R. (19 Aug. 1924 - 3 Feb. 2009)

OWEN -- Viola R. Anderson, 84, of Owen died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at the Golden LivingCenter in Abbotsford, Wis.

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, and again Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

A full obituary will be published Saturday.

OWEN -- Viola R. Anderson, 84, of Owen passed away peacefully at the Golden LivingCenter in Abbotsford on Feb. 3, 2009.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Further visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

On Aug. 19, 1924, Viola was born to her parents, Elroy Schulze and Freada Hofmann. She graduated the eighth grade from Elmhurst School House. She married Howard Anderson on Dec. 10, 1941. Together, they farmed in the Owen/Withee area for 20 years.

Viola is lovingly survived by her children, Darlene (the late Victor) Peche of Medford, Dale H. (Judy) Anderson of Marshfield, Kathy (Doug) Knapp of Marshfield; 10 grandchildren, Kim (Amy) Peche, Kelvin (Jenny) Peche, Scott (Robin) Peche, Wendy (David) Weis, Sue (John) Fowler, Todd (Erin) Anderson, Adam (special friend Andrea) Knapp, Brian (fiancee Stephanie) Knapp, Mark Knapp and Travis Knapp. She was a proud great-grandma of nine. She is further survived by her brother, Clifford (Carol) Schulze; and one sister, Janet Boutto.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; and two brothers, Ruben and Roy Schulze.

She will be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
