Laabs, Bernice (23 JUN 1944)

At a nuptial mass celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday, June 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Seattle, Wash., Miss Bernice Laabs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Laabs of Everett, Wash., became the bride of Cpl. Alex P. Weyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Weyer of Loyal.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Beatrice Laabs, of Seattle. The groom’s attendant was T/Sgt. Frank J. Bauer of Colby, Wis. Both Corporal Weyer and Sergeant Bauer are now stationed in Seattle.

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Colonial Room of the Gowman hotel in Seattle for relatives and friends of the bride and groom.

Upon return from a trip to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Weyer will be at home to friends at 1715 Yale avenue, Seattle.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
