Griep, Clara #3 (20 JUN 1944)

A recent wedding in which Loyal people will be interested is that of Miss Clara Griep of Wisconsin Rapids, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Griep of Dixon, Ill., to Wilmer Ullman, son of Mrs. Lena Ullman of Wisconsin Rapids.

The wedding occurred on June 20 at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical Lutheran church in Wisconsin Rapids.

The bride’s dress was of white brocaded marquisette over taffeta, floor length, V-neck, fitted waist and a very full skirt. She wore a fingertip length veil and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and white sweet peas. Mrs. Kermit Lammers of Wisconsin Rapids was matron of honor, and miss Myrle Hales, cousin of the bride, was groom’s attendant.

Both the bride and groom attended Neillsville high school, and the University of Wisconsin. The newlyweds will make their home in Madison.

Among the out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Hales and Mr. and Mrs. Myrle Hales of Loyal.

The bride will be remembered by many here, for she lived here for several years when a child.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
