An uncle of the bride, the Rev. Paul Schroeder of Blair, assisted by the Rev. O. B. Ransopher of Wisconsin Rapids, performed the double ring ceremony at Calvary Baptist church in Wisconsin Rapids at 2:30 Saturday. July 8, at which Miss Helen Emogene Erwin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Erwin, became the bride of Russell C. Emmes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Emmes. Both families live in Wisconsin Rapids

The bride’s attendants were Miss Leonora Clark of Exeland, as maid of honor, and Miss Murial Ketelle of St. Paul, as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by two cousins, Harold and Paul Bovee of Plainfield. Ushers were Miss Elvira Lindow of Chili and Miss Marguerite Ketelle of St. Paul. Mr. Erwin gave his daughter in marriage.

A graduate of the Marshfield high school, Mrs. Emmes attended the St. Paul Bible Institute and prior to her marriage was employed by the Prentiss-Wabers Manufacturing Co. at Wisconsin Rapids. Mr. Emmes, an inspector at the same plant, was graduated from th Wisconsin Rapids high school.

They went north for their wedding trip and after July 20 will be at home at 210 Baker street, Wisconsin Rapids.

The bride has many friends in and around Loyal.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
