Free, Herbert M. (? - 2 February 1971)

Funeral services for Herbert M. Free, 78, former Town of York resident who died February 2, in Neillsville, were held Saturday, February 6, at 1:30 p.m. from the York Center Methodist Church. The Rev. Conrad Mickelson officiated and burial was made in the York Center Methodist Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dennis, Frederick and Roger Buchholz, Richard Murphy, Jack Spuhler, and Concepcion Sepulveda. Milford Rowe and Neil Benedict sang “Beyond the Sunset” and “In the Garden” accompanied by Mrs. Milford Rowe.

Those from out of town who attended the services included: Mr. and Mrs. C. Sepulveda and family of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; Mrs. David Feltman of Sante Fe, N.M; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Grand, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jacobchick, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sikora, all of Milwaukee; Mrs. William F. Seltrecht and son, Wisconsin Dells; and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Murphy and family, Black River Falls.
