Quite a number of farmers are busy hauling gravel on the road these last few days.

The Watkins man was seen on our road Saturday evening.

Casper Shober delivered hogs to Loyal Saturday.

Henry Bushman of Marshfield spent a few days at his son, John Bushman.

A surprise party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Kennedy Saturday evening. The occasion was their 25th wedding anniversary. A good time was reported.

Miss Annie Lindner helped Mrs. Bushamn with her worked Thursday afternoon.

Quite a number of children in this vicinity are down with the mumps.

Casper and Elizabeth Shober spent Sunday evening at the George Walter home south of Loyal.

A card party was given at Ed Klinke's Sunday evening. A most enjoyable time was had.

Happy Smith was a caller at the M. Kennedy home Thursday.

Miss Elizabeth Shober took music lessons in town Thursday afternoon.

Shober Bros purchased a snow snake a few weeks ago. Well boy, you sure can climb the snow drifts now.

We sure are having some nice weather again now.
