Bitter, Robert Rev. (1950)

Install Pastor at Globe, Christie - The Rev. Robert Bitter of Millersville was installed as pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Christie Sunday.

At the 10:30 a.m. service in the Globe church, the Rev. Mr. Bitter was ordained into the ministry. The Rev. Henry Juroff of Millersville conducted the service. The Rev. Donald Bitter of Ft. Atkinson, an uncle of the new pastor assisted.

The liturgy service was conducted by the Rev. Norman Lindloff, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Neillsville.

In the afternoon at 2 o’clock the Rev. Mr. Bitter was installed as pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Christie, with the Rev. Gerhard Lambrecht of Klondike Corners conducting the service.

The Rev. Mr. Bitter completed theological studies at the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary at Mequon early in June.

The Rev. and Mrs. Bitter have completed moving into the parsonage at Globe.

The new minister succeeds the Rev. David Witte, who has accepted a call to serve a parish in East Troy.
