Schwarze, Edward "Edwin"*(21 July 1877 - 12 October 1950)

Funeral services for Edward Schwarze, 73, of Greenwood were held on Saturday from the West Side Reformed Church. The Rev. J. C. Klingeberger officiated. Burial was made in the West Side Cemetery. He died on Wednesday at his home in the Town of Warner.

Mr. Schwarze was born on July 21, 1877. He came to Greenwood at the age of two, and had resided here since that time. He was married to Ella Humke. He was an implement dealer in Greenwood from 1928 to 1938. He also operated a saw mill and threshing machine.

Surviving are his widow, two sons, Theodore of Marshfield and Walter of Greenwood; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Lucille) Rohde of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; three brothers, William, Alfred and Art of Greenwood; and a sister, Mrs. William Wohlfeit of Watertown.

Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

*As noted by a relative, Stan Schwarze the name of Edward should be Edwin.
