Chronquist, Minnie (Marriage - 12 Nov. 1940)

Miss Minnie Chronquist, Wausau, chose November 12, the anniversary of the marriage of her parents, as her wedding day.

At high noon, Tuesday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Frank Chronquist at Barron, Miss Minnie Chronquist became the bride of Maurice Hutt, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hutt, Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. Elmer Cooper of the Methodist church of Barron read the marriage service.

The bride wore a street costume of cadet blue crepe and a corsage of gardenias. Her sister, Miss Edna Chronquist, Barron, was her only attendant. She wore a burgundy colored street costume and a corsage of gardenias and baby chrysanthemums.

Mr. Hutt was attended by Charles Barney of Abbotsford, Wis.

During the ceremony "I Love You Truly" was sung by Mrs. Rose Lundberg, sister of the bride, and A. J. Folstad, brother-in-law of the bride. "Because" was sung by Mrs. Ella Barney of Abbotsford, Wis.

Mrs. Chronquist wore a wine colored street costume for her daughter’s wedding. Mrs. Hutt wore a dress of black. Both mothers had corsages of baby chrysanthemums in variegated colors.

Mrs. A. J. Folstad, another sister of the bride, accompanied the singers and played the wedding marches.

Baskets of large white and yellow chrysanthemums were used throughout the home for the occasion.

Following the ceremony a reception was held and dinner served to the guests.

Among those present were: Mrs. Frank Chronquist, daughters, the Misses Edna, Victoria and Mrs. Rose Lundberg and her two sons Charles and Larry, Charles Williams and Robert Solie, Barron; Dr. Clarence Chronquist, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hutt, Bernard Laabs, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Folstad, daughter, Lynn, Mrs. Ella Barney and son, Charles, Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Hutt will be at home to their friends after December 1st. Mrs. Hutt has been employed as dietician at St. Mary’s Hospital, Wausau and Mr. Hutt is the proprietor of the Electric Motor Repair Service.
