Bertha Marie Haas was born in the Town of Worden on Oct. 15, 1891, the daughter of Casper and Brigita Haas, deceased.. She was united in marriage to Oscar Boie on April 28, 1914. She was a kind and faithful wife and mother, a true friend and neighbor, but all the care and love, skilled physicians and an anxious household could devise and apply for her comfort, were overruled.
She leaves to mourn he untimely death, her husband, three children, five grandsons, four sisters and four brothers, George, Robert, Joseph and Casper Haas of Thorp; sisters, Miss Amalia Haas and Mrs. Guy Leiby of Menasha, and Mrs. Frank Smitke and Mrs. Alfred Kaas of Thorp, and many nieces and nephews and a lot of friends.

Patiently she suffered, the pain she bore, now it is ended, she suffers no more. To sleep we leave her, in quiet and rest. The parting was painful, but God knows best.
