On Jan. 6, 1951 at 3 p.m. in Park View Lutheran Church, Chicago, Ill., Herman K. Doege and Lillian Devlin were married in a double ring ceremony, Rev. Jorden O. Paulsrud performed the ceremony.
The bride, daughter of Mrs. Welfing, wore a navy blue lace dress and hat, white accessories, and a corsage of mixed flowers.
The bride’s attendant, Mrs. Evelyn Mei, wore a blue suit and hat with white accessories and flowers.
The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Doege, Jr., Withee (Clark Co.), Wis., and his attendant John Casey wore gray business suits and boutonnieres.
After a cocktail party at the Pizzeria Uno, dinner was served at the Jim Laine home, Rush St., for the wedding party and close relatives.
The happy couple are now at home at 717 Roscoe St. Chicago, Ill.
