Buehler, Armin P. (30 May 1924 - 25 Feb. 2009)

OWEN -- Armin P. Buehler, 84, a resident of the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, and a former Medford resident, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at the health care center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Medford. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hemer Funeral Home, and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Armin was born May 30, 1924, in Medford, the son of Paul R. and Helen (Resech) Buehler. He was united in marriage June 7, 1952, to Lucille Carlson at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in the town of Holway.

He started a truck gravel and pulp wood business in 1947, and in 1966 he started an excavating business to go along with his trucking business, working until his retirement in 1997.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Buehler of Medford; three daughters, Lynette (Gerald) Pernsteiner and Susan (Douglas) Moretz, both of Medford, and Julie (William) Thacker of Acworth, Ga.; six grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis (Keith) Hutson of Sequin, Texas; and a brother, Ervin Buehler of Galveston, Ind.
