Stewart, Lillian (21 July 1867 - 30 June 1961)

Mrs. Lillian Stewart died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bertha Leffel, in the town of Hull, Friday at 4:30 A.M. at the age of 93 years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church, Rev. William Christian officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Bernard, Delmar, Henry, Vern, Melvin and Mildford Leffel, all grand sons.

The former Lillian Haffner was born in Milwaukee county on July 21, 1867. Her first marriage took place in 1885 to Julius Leffel. He passed away in 1895. She was married to Harvey Stewart in 1900. After the death of her second husband, she made her home with the Otto Leffels.

Surviving are two sons, William Leffel of Stratford and Henry Leffel of Colby, a sister, Mrs. Otto Dallman of Wausau; 16 grand children and 33 great grand children.

She was also preceded in death by two children who died in infancy, five sisters and five brothers.
