Johnson, Nathaniel H. (3 July 1872 - 1 May 1951)

Funeral services for Nathaniel H. Johnson, 78, were held on Sunday afternoon from the Johnson Funeral Home in Greenwood. Burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery. He died on Tuesday, May 1, 1951 at 11:30 a.m. as a result of a heart attack.

Mr. Johnson was born July 3, 1872. On September 17, 1918 he was married to Kate Davis, who died August 14, 1931. He was also preceded in death by a daughter and three sons. Two sons were killed in action in World War II. They were Mathew, who was killed in the European area on October 14, 1943, at the age of 22 and George, who died in Germany May 31, 1946, at the age of 20. Henry and Velma died in infancy.

A daughter Beatrice of Milwaukee survives.
