Korth, Gretchen (Marriage - 28 April 1951)

The First English Lutheran Church at Whitewater, Wis., was the setting for the wedding of Gretchen Korth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Korth of Neillsville R4 and Raymond Barth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Barth of Whitewater, at candlelight services on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. the Rev. Irvin A. Suby performing the double ring ceremony.

The bride approached the altar on the arm of her father, wearing a navy blue suit with white accessories and with a corsage of white roses.

Miss June Reick, a close friend, was maid of honor. She also wore a navy blue suit with white accessories and a corsage of carnations.

Gene Raphold of Iowa, a cousin of the groom, was best man. Jim Shephauser, nephew of the groom and Harold Schrank cousin of the bride were the ushers.

A reception for about 100 guests was held in the church parlors. Miss Betty Ann Schrank, cousin of the bride, poured.

The couple left on a honeymoon to Indiana and Kentucky. Upon their return they will reside in Whitewater.

Mrs. Emil Korth and daughter, Eileen, of Granton, attended the wedding.
