Horn, Laverne I. (4 MAY 1951)

Miss Laverne Irene Horn, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Pfc. Vern E. Vollrath, Camp Pickett, Va., were married at 1 o’clock Friday afternoon in the West Side Reformed Church by Rev. B. M. Fresenborg.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Horn, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath, all of Greenwood.

The bride’s attendants were Miss Norma Warner, as maid of honor, Miss Nadine Horn, the bride’s cousin from Owen, Miss Jeanette Seibold, cousin of the groom, and Mrs. Bernard Denk, as bridesmaids, and Sandra Liebzeit as flower girl.

Dale Vollrath, brother of the groom, was best man, and Lloyd and Donald Horn, both brothers of the bride, and Larry Vollrath, River Falls, the groom’s brother, as groomsmen.

Kenneth Vollrath and Hebert Horn, both of Greenwood, ushered for the ceremony.

Bruce Liebzeit, Greenwood, the flower girl’s brother, was ring bearer.

In the evening a wedding dance was held in St. Hedwig’s Hall at Thorp.
