Hare, Lois M. (2 Nov. 1914 - 3 Mar. 2009)

Lois M. Hare, 94, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lois M. Hare, 94, of Greenwood, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Lois Margaret Merkel was born on Nov. 2, 1914, in West Bend, to Joseph and Margaret (Blum) Merkel. She graduated from Greenwood High School. Lois was united in marriage to Merril C. "Bunny" Hare on Aug. 26, 1934, in Greenwood. Lois was a homemaker and raised her six children in Greenwood. She also worked for the Greenwood School District as a cook.

She is survived by her children: Corrine (Dick) Larson of Greenwood, Sue Ellen (Jim) Rahm of Greenwood, Margaret Hare (Joe Pagliolo) of Columbia Heights, Minn., Rosemary Hare (Jim Uhren) of Milwaukee, William Hare (Frances Li) of Minneapolis, Minn., and Beth Hare of Oshkosh; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Cuddie Funeral Home, of Greenwood, is assisting the family with arrangements.
