Krystofiak, John (30 AUG 1864 - 10 JUN 1951)

Father Jerome Kamla officiated at the funeral services for John Krystofiak, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church. He died June 10, 1951 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Mr. Krystofiak was a former Brownsville farmer, who moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) 13 years ago. He was born Aug. 30, 1864 in Poland and came to America at the age of 16 and found employment in Chicago, where he lived until 1938 when he moved to Owen.

The pallbearers were: Joe Staron, Sebastian Potaczek, John Holewinski, Walter Bania, Joe Leja and John Leja.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Rose) Pogodzinski of Thorp, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
