Soborowicz, Valeria (23 JUN 1951)

Miss Valeria Soborowicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Soborowicz of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Vernon S. Lewandowski, son of Mrs. Susan Lewandowski of Thorp, in a ceremony performed by Rev. Jos. Walijewski at St. Hedwig’s Church on Saturday morning, June 23rd, 1951, at 10:30 o’clock.

For her wedding the bride wore a gown of scallop edged lace over rayon sheer and skinner satin that fell into a double layer cathedral train styled with fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline with long tight printed sleeves. She wore a fingertip veil of imported French illusion held by a crown of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of a white orchid with colored lip and fleu d’amour.

The couple was attended by Ray Soborowicz, as best man, and Connie Lewandowski, bridesmaid, attired in a green ballerina gown of frosted flowered overskirt of net and taffeta with net stole. The second attending couple was Bob Lewandowski and Alice Dmytro, who wore a yellow dress.

Miss Helen Lewandowski was maid, attired in a green ballerina’s dress of orchid, similar to that of the first bridesmaid. She and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of baby orchids and ivy.

The groom and his attendants wore white dinner jackets and dark trousers.
