Swim, Anita (30 JUN 1951)

The Rev. R. J. Geissler read the nuptial vows for the double ring ceremony that saw Miss Anita Swim, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Swim, Sr. of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) become the bride of Sgt. Emil DeRouin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph DeRouin of Stanley.

The wedding took place at St. Mary’s Rectory at Stanley on June 30, 1951, Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. The attending couple were Mr. and Mrs. Harley Swim Jr. of Stanley, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.

The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents following the ceremony.

The newlyweds left for a short honeymoon through northern Wisconsin. Upon their return they will make their home in California, where the groom is stationed.
