Bruesewitz, Arlyn Delmar (1 Jan. 1938 - 23 Oct. 1994)

COLBY - Arlyn Delmar Bruesewitz, 56, Unity, Wisconsin, died at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 23, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Malik officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Colby, Wis.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Mike, Scott and Tim Bruesewitz and Chad Sebold, and grandsons, Keith, Kurt and Brian Bruesewitz and Jason Wolfe.

Visitation will be at Community Funeral Home in Colby after 5 p.m. today.

Arlyn was born Jan. 1, 1938, in the town of Unity, Clark County, to the late Delmar and Lila (Cramer) Bruesewitz. He attended Enterprise Grade School and graduated from Spencer High School. He married Shirley Ewert on Jan. 25, 1958.

Arlyn worked for several contractors, including Asphalt Pavers of Marshfield and R&G Excavators of Unity, Wis. He was employed at Abbyland Pork Plant in Curtiss at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Unity; his paternal grandmother, Amanda Bruesewitz of Abbotsford; five sons, Ken (Donna) Bruesewitz and Steve (Cheryl) Bruesewitz of Unity, Dan (Elaine) Bruesewitz of Sheboygan, Doug (Mary Jo) Bruesewitz of Milan and Rod Bruesewitz of Sheboygan Falls; three daughters, Laura (Bob) Wolfe and Barb (Mike) Rahm of Colby and Joan (Cliff) Kingery of Escondido, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Berdell (Margaret) Bruesewitz of Colby and Dennis (Linda) Bruesewitz and David (Sandra) Bruesewitz of Unity; and one sister, Cheryl (Tim) Sebold of Colby, Wis.
