Schmidt, Harold (7 October 1934 - 6 May 1971)

Funeral services for Harold Schmidt, 36, or Loyal, who died May 6, were held Monday, May 10, at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated and burial was made in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Harold Schmidt was born October 7, 1934, in the Town of York. He worked at Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee for 14 years and had been at home with his parents since December of last year. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allie Schmidt of Loyal; two sisters, Miss Lucille Schmidt of Loyal and Mrs. Gene (Irene) Fischer of Milwaukee; and three brothers, Larry of Milwaukee, James of Tomah, and Dale of Loyal.

Pallbearers were: Donald, Verland Eugene and Duane Schmidt, William Horn and Dale Hoeser.
