A requiem high mass was read Friday morning at 9:30 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, for Mrs. Ervin Pohl, 47, who died Feb. 21, 1949. The Rev. N. B. Beschta conducted the services and burial took place in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ed Seit, O. W. Schultz, Frank Hill, Tony Will, Bernard Newman, and Carl Domer. The children’s choir sang at the services.

Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Nihkinen, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nihkinen, and Mrs. Cecil Simmons, all of Lake Forest, Ill.; Lillian Hill and Mr. and Mrs. John Pribnow Jr., Loyal; Harry Orth, Adams; Mrs. Frank Lane, Chicago, Ill; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pohl, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krause, Mrs. Edwin Reimer, Mr. and Mrs. Shanklin Kraut, Donald Kraut, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kind, all of Curtiss.
