NEILLSVILLE -- Donald Crockett, 73, of Neillsville died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. Donald Allen Crockett was born Sept. 9, 1935, the son of Allen and Barbara Crockett, and lived on the family farm in the town of Washburn until he graduated from high school.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Eugene Crockett, Wichita, Kan.; Bruce Crockett, Edmond, Okla.; Gilbert Crockett, Wind Lake; June Schmidt, Loyal; Edgar Crockett, Tacoma, Wash.; Catherine (Donald) Griesmer, Wausau; Rita (Edwin Miller) Crockett, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Davy Crockett, Loyal; and LeRoy Crockett, Bowling Green, Fla.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday at the Gesche Funeral Home. Interment will be in the town of Levis Cemetery. The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Donald's family with funeral arrangements.
