Mueller, George (12 Nov. 1870 - 8 Sept. 1941)

Funeral services for George Mueller who died at his home Monday were held this afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o’clock at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Brandt officiated and internment was made in the cemetery in the Town of Frankfort.

Mr. Mueller was born in Brookfield, Nov. 12, 1870, and was married in the Town of Wien, to Anna Seegar on June 1, 1904. Before moving to Abbotsford three years ago, Mr. Mueller lived for four years in the Town of Holton.

Mr. Mueller had been in poor health the past five years and died at the age of 70, at 4:45 a.m. Monday. Dropsy and a heart ailment caused his death.

Surviving besides his wife are ten children, Oscar of Boyd; Alvin of Abbotsford; Clarence of Colby; Mrs. Fred (Leona) Schroeder of Fond du Lac; Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Nienow, Stratford; Arnold of Fort Bragg, N.C.; Mrs. Edwin (Esther) Weideman, Abbotsford; Mrs. Arnold (Minnie) Barker, Park Falls; and Orville and Elsie, at home. Three children preceded him in death.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. George Lueschow, Frankfort, Mrs. Carl Erdman and Mrs. Samuel Eggebrecht, both of Wausau; three brothers, Carl of Wausau, John of Fenwood, and Harry of the Town of Wien; and eight grandchildren.

Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
