Mr. and Mrs. G.P. Campbell gave a surprise party on Mr. Gartland Tuesday evening. Everyone had a good time.

Sam Daughenbaugh and Lucien Butcher called at the Prebil home in Gorman Sunday p.m.

Mrs. Backus and daughters Heloise and Geraldine spent Friday evening at Butcher's.

Mr. and Mrs. Pete Matkovich and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matkovich of Virginia, Minn., are visiting at the M. Matkovich and Godec homes at present.

Mrs. Fred Barr and Mr. and Mrs. Kenyon called at Backus' Saturday.

Mrs. Butcher and children spent Sunday with her brother, David Reese, near Greenwood.

Mr. Marden and daughter Vivian were Willard visitors Friday.

Miss Pettis and Miss Emberson spent Tuesday evening at Backus'.

A large crowed attended the dance at Willard Sunday afternoon and evening.

Henry Daughenbaugh called on Frank Beam one night last week.

G.P. Campbell, Hans Schmidt and Henry Daughenbaugh spent Sunday p.m. at Backus'.

Neumans entertained company from Loyal and Blair on Sunday.

Lillian Essendrope spent Sunday with Geraldine Crotzer.

L.S. Butcher is getting his sawmill in shape to begin work next week.

We wonder why John Ulesich's car was parked near Backus' at 1:00 o'clock Monday morning.
