Hamm, Hildegarde P. (26 NOV 1949)

Miss Hildegard Patricia Hamm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hamm, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Mr. Myron Charles McCreedy, Shiocton, Wis., Saturday, Nov. 26th, 1949. The ceremony was performed at 10 a.m. in the parsonage of the Holy Rosary Church, Owen, with Father Raymond Bornbach reading the nuptial ceremony.

For the occasion, the bride chose an attractive dark green tailored suit with black accessories and wore a white orchid shoulder corsage.

Attending her was her sister, Nancy, who wore a two-pieced tailored dress of grey, with brown accessories. Completing her attire was shoulder corsage of white roses.

The bridegroom and his best man, Vernon Collar, a close friend of the couple, wore conventional business suits of brown tweed and blue, with boutonnieres of yellow roses and white carnations.

A dinner was served to 92 guests and 94 at the supper which were served at the Owen Community Hall. Misses Donna Dempsey, Dorothy Fillo, Barbara Allen, Mary Ellen and Darlene Pyatt, close friends of the bride and former classmates, waited on the tables.

The bride attended the Forest Grove grammar school and is a graduate of the Owen High School. For the past three and one-half years she has been employed in Milwaukee, where she had been doing office work. Her husband received his education in the Union Free High School at Shiocton, Wis., and is now employed as a cabinet salesman. The newlyweds have established a home in Shiocton.

Guests from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. George Hamm, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hamm, Cadott; Miss Helen Stock and son, Nick, Jr., Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Novotny, Mr. Lee Sergbusch, of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pralguski, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Nelson, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. John Stock, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lange, Mr. and Mrs. Art Behringer and many other close friends and former classmates of the bride and groom.
