Wetzel, Auralia #2 (26 NOV 1949)

Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Atcherson who returned this week from a two week honeymoon trip that took them through 10 states and into Mexico, will reside with the bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Atcherson, near Unity, until their new home is completed in the spring. The bride is the former Miss Auralia Wetzel, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wetzel, Owen.

The birthday anniversary of the bride, Nov. 26, 1949, was chosen for the couple’s wedding day. Attended by the bridegroom’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hein, Stratford, they exchanged vows in the parsonage of the Methodist Church in Loyal, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Lee Holmes. Supper was served to the bridal party later at the home of the bridegroom’s parents.

The bride, who graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1940, has been employed the past five years as a clerk at the Farmer’s Store at Greenwood. The bridegroom, a graduate of the Unity High School, with the class of 1942, is engaged in farming with his father.
