Tieman, Joyce Elaine (Marriage - 26 July 1951)

Now on a short honeymoon following their marriage on Thursday, July 26, at Greenwood, are Sgt. and Mrs. Earl Leslie Syth.

The bride is the former Miss Joyce Elaine Tieman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tieman, Jr., of Thorp. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Syth of Greenwood and is stationed at Oklahoma City, Okla.

The ceremony was performed at the Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood, by the Rev. Lee Holmes. Attending the bride were her sisters, Mrs. Stanton Martinson, Colby, as matron of honor, and Mrs. Theron Pagel, Thorp, as bridesmaid. Another sister, Linda, was flower girl, while Roger Tieman was his brother’s ring bearer.

Richard Syth, Greenwood, acted as best man for his brother, and Theron Pagel of Thorp, acted as groomsman. Ushers were Jerome Tieman, Thorp, and Robert Tieman, Greenwood.
