Keuer, Irene (Marriage - 4 August 1951)

Miss Irene Keuer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Keuer, and Erlin Dahl, son of Mrs. Freida Dahl, of Granton, repeated their nuptial vows at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church on August 4, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Arthur Oswald performed the double ring ceremony before an altar banked with baskets of gladiolus and dahlias.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of white satin fashioned with long sleeves and a full length train. Her veil fell from a head dress of seed pearls and she carried a bridal bouquet of yellow roses and swansonia.

Mrs. Lloyd Swenson of Rockford, Ill., sister of the bride acted as matron of honor. She was attired in a gown of Nile green taffeta. Lorraine Sternitzky a friend of the bride, as the bridesmaid was dressed in an orchid taffeta gown.

Lloyd Swenson of Rockford, Ill., served as best man, with Donald Helm and Walter Helm as attendants. Billy Dalke served as ring bearer and Jacqueline Zalabsky, a cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Richard Harlin was the soloist.

Following the wedding a reception fro 125 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The house was decorated in white, Nile green, and orchid, with white wedding bells.

After a honeymoon in southern Wisconsin the young couple will be at home on a farm near Granton.

The bride was graduated from the Granton High School. The groom is employed in farming.

Guests were present for the wedding from Illinois, California, Oregon, Milwaukee, Marshfield, Manawa, Racine, Medford, Stetsonville, Colby, Pittsville, Neillsville, Chili, and Superior.
