Heath, George E. (21 AUG 1873 - 22 FEB 1950)

George E. Heath was placed in his final resting place in the Riverside Cemetery Saturday afternoon, Feb. 25th. Funeral services were conducted at two o’clock from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin). Officiating at the services was Rev. Harold Miller. Pallbearers were: Ed Harliss, Ted Wessel, Robert Hodd, Chester Neff, Ray Petlers and Fred Stein.

George Heath was born on Aug. 21, 1873 at Augusta, Wis. He had been a resident of the this community for many years. For many years he lived on the farm now owned by Carl Stenseth, located on Highway 29 between Owen and Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). For the past several years he had lived on a farm seven miles south of Highway 29 on County Trunk "O", where he passed away on Feb. 22, 1950, at the age of 77 years.
