Mrs. Marie Kurhajec, a resident of the Town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.) for many years, was place in her final resting place in Chicago where funeral services were conducted for her Saturday, March 4. Burial was made in the National Bohemian Cemetery.

She passed away at the home of her son, Louis, north of Withee on Wednesday, March 1st, 1950. She was 71 years of age, having been born in Czechoslovakia on Feb. 19, 1879.
