Dumas, George (27 Aug. 1890 - 27 Aug. 1962)

George Dumas, a former resident of Colby, died in Chicago, Ill., Monday afternoon of a heart attack at the age of 72 years. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, in Chicago, where burial will be made.

Mr. Dumas was born in Marshfield on August 27, 1890, and married Lucy Lukowicz of Colby, Wis. While in Colby he worked for the Soo Line. After leaving Colby 38 years ago, he was employed by the Northwestern Railway in Chicago.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters - Mrs. Jet Kohar and Miss Gem Dumas.
