Loney, Belva B. (17 Dec. 1884 - 14 Jan. 1963)

Mrs. Belva B. Loney passed away Monday morning in her home in Colby, Wisconsin at the age of 78 years, a coronary attack being the cause of her death. Funeral services will be held at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock and burial will be made in the Brighton cemetery, Unity, Wis.

Belva Ayer was born in the town of Beaver, Clark county, on December 17, 1884. She was a graduate of Unity High School and taught schools in Clark county. She married Truman Loney who preceded her in death. They lived in Buffalo Springs, N.D., Osage, Iowa, and for 12 years in Minneapolis, Minn. They moved to Colby 14 years ago. They were affiliated with the Methodist church. They had no children.

Surviving brothers and sisters are Owen L. Ayer of Madison, Walter Ayer of Riplinger, Dolly (Mrs. Arthur Wisnoski) of Minneapolis, Minn., Jane (Mrs. William Cammers) of Colby and William Ayer of Loyal. Five brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Belva B. Loney were held last Thursday afternoon in the Lulloff Funeral Home, Rev. Paul Doering officiating, and internment was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery, Unity, Wis. Pall bearers were Jerome Christensen, Virgil Christenson, Allen Schjoneman, Clinton Schjoneman, Emory Rahm and Robert Ayer.
