Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Weix of Colby announce the engagement of their daughter, Wanda, of Chicago, Ill., to Eugene B. Szymcak, son of Mrs. Mary Szymcak and the late Mr. Szymcak of 924 51st Place, Chicago, Ill. Miss Weix, a graduate of Colby High School, is an insurance underwriter at Byrne, Byrne & Co. of Chicago. Mr. Szymcak, a graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology, is with Economy Tool and Gage Co. of Chicago. A May wedding is being planned.
