Lutgen, Charlotte (Marriage - 8 June 1942)

Miss Charlotte Lutgen, daughter of Mrs. Anna Lutgen of Medford, was married June 8, at Wabasha, Minn., to Henry Graffunder, son of Mrs. Herman Graffunder of Abbotsford, Wis.

The bride wore a pale blue dress with beige accessories. Her corsage was of carnations and gladioli.

A wedding dance was given at the John Lahman tavern in Medford and a wedding supper was given the couple by Mrs. Lawrence Krause of Medford.

Relatives and friends attending the dance included the Ben Baer family and Alfred Daky family of Athens, the Oscar Shauer family of Abbotsford, Reuben and Jerome Danner of Marshfield, Ben Graffunder and family of Abbotsford, Gay Graffunder and family of Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Krause, Mrs. Anna Lutgen, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Emmons and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Rykoski of Medford.

The couple will make their home at the home of the bride’s mother. They took a four-day wedding trip to Sheboygan Falls where they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Lutgen. The groom is employed as a carpenter.
