Pollack, Elizabeth (Marriage - 5 May 1943)

Marriage vows were exchanged between Elizabeth Pollack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pollack, Abbotsford, and Bernard Geiger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Geiger of Dorchester, in a double-ring ceremony in St. Bernard’s Catholic church at 8:30 Wednesday morning. The Rev. Francis ? read the service and high mass.

The bride wore an entrained gown of white satin with sweetheart neck line, and seed pearls down the front. Her wrist length veil fell from a headdress of seed pearls. She carried an arm bouquet of pink and white ? and carnations and a white prayer book.

Attending as her maid of honor was Miss Adeline Geiger of Dorchester, sister of the groom. She wore a gown of American Beauty taffeta.

Miss Adeline Stoiber, of Dorchester, Wisconsin, who was bridesmaid, was dressed in ? taffeta. Both attendants wore ? finger-tip veils and wrist corsages of mixed flowers.

?ester Geiger, brother of the groom, and Cyril Decker, both of Dorchester, were the groom’s attendants.

Following the ceremony a reception for about 50 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening, a wedding dance was held at the village hall at Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Geiger are at home to friends at Colby, Route 1.

Among the guests from away who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Geiger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kauer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Geiger and daughter, ?nice, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stoiber and family, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore ? and family, all of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Geiger and family, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Henry ? and Mike Wittman, Kaukauna; Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hahn, ?; Mrs. Eugene Kyle, Drummond; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pollack, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Pollack, Milton and Mrs. Signe Fetke, ?; Mr. and Mrs. John Pollack, Cable; and Pfc. Stanley Pollack, Camp Claiborne, La.
